Research and Analysis at REDC

In 2009 I got the opportunity to manage research and analysis for the builders division of REDC (Real Estate Disposition Corp), the owner of auction.com. The purpose of this group was to get builders to auction off their vacant units or entire building projects. My role was to research the respective markets and analyze the units and properties to determine the reserve values that would be used at the auctions.

The group used my findings to determine whether the deal was worth pursuing. My job included visiting properties throughout the country, analyzing market and financial data relating to the properties, creating spreadsheets to analyze the data and present my findings to the group’s management and sales team.
